It’s all started from all the annoyance which came after not finding the appropriate data even for some of the popular places.
Initially, I blamed google but then I found out that most of the google maps data come from independent contributions of users. At that moment I told myself why should I wait for someone else, why not me?
This is how it’s all started and the actual motivation comes when you see your contributions are creating impact, people are viewing your photos, like your reviews and appreciate.
I remember those initial days when my friends used to troll me by saying, “What you’ll gonna get out of it, isn’t this Google’s own business to take care of this data?”. And frankly speaking, I had no rational answer to their questions but now I know it’s about taking an initiative, bringing transparency and making a difference. The ironic thing is some of those friends are now local guides too.
