I have had the fortune to travel across the globe. With all my adventures abroad in strange cities there’s nothing like an honest review or recommendation from a local. Finding the best spots in the city off the beaten path is an incredible experience that lets us connect to cultures beyond surface level tourism. Because of that, my favourite places to review are off the beaten path, that may give a visitor a unique experience of the city I call home. From the best graffiti in Toronto, to hidden tea houses in Riga, these places have the power to shape your experience into a unique visit!
Constantly being asked for the best places to take an insta photo, my recent obsession has been trying to scout locations that yield breathtaking views of the city that most people wouldn’t get. These include things like the Scarborough Bluffs, a parking garage in Kensington Market, or perhaps the edge of Cherry Beach. All of these places are stunning beyond compare, but would never pop up on a regular tour of the city.
My name is Justin, and I LOVE local guides for the places they highlight that would otherwise never be on the radar. I try to find trendy spots that are full of culture and history, and I can’t wait to see the places you’ve suggested for me to visit!
