I was wondering why it’s so slow?? Each time , I want to switch from page to another page, it takes time more than it supposed to be.
For example from"Home" to " Local stories" or “travel”…etc. In my case, it is very slow!
Can I know why please?

Hello @SunshineNY
It’s not clear on which platform you are experiencing slow page loading. Is it on the phone or the desktop?
I am not experiencing any further decrease in speed on both.
An immediate remedy would be to clear the entire history + cache & then decide.
@C_T hello,
On my phone, each time I connect here, it’s too slow. I know my phone doesn’t have any problem.
I use it on my contributions on Google maps, Google search, Chrome…etc. but the only place too slow is here.
Thanks for the clarification @SunshineNY
Here too I guess you are using the progressive app.
Page switching is inherently slow in that.
Still, you can achieve some improvement in that. Here is a help page on that.
https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/1385029?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en
Also, if you are able to select Google domain name servers, that would add to the speed.
@C_T , Thank you very much. I will try to do it.
I do agree with @SunshineNY that Connect on Android phone is unusually slow. The first page in a session in particular. But that is most likely due to verification of us. But also subsequent pages are often painfully slow. So much that I often consider to fix something else instead of just waiting. No other websites I use have this much delay in responding. I’m not using the orange app pretender but standard chrome bookmarks. I can try documenting this in a video if needed.
Cheers
Hi @SunshineNY thank you for reaching out. Connect is not optimized for mobile use as compared to desktop or laptop usage. There have been complains about this issue before. I am sure since this platform keeps on improving this will get resolved some days.
If by any chance you started experiancing this now, please give more details as when you have started having this issue, which device you are using and which oparating system, is Google Chrome, or Android on mobile?
@MortenCopenhagen , thanks, yes, it’s the same thing I am experiencing. It’s very slow!
@Raphael-Mahumane , thanks.
I am using android in mobile, Galaxy 9.
I prefer to use my phone to post pictures directly.
