Why isn't there an option to review places?

Hello my deal fellows, I Hope you are doing well. For the last few months, I haven’t seen an option to review a place in the Google Maps app on my Android mobile. But I see the option and I can review from the web version.

A few weeks ago I cleared all the data and I was able to review paces. But now again there is no option for review.

Have you encountered a similar problem? And how can I fix this?

Hi @SaifIS

Please confirm that you are logged in in the Maps app. Can you see your contributions and are the numbers the same as when using the web version?

@MortenCopenhagen Hello, yes I am logged in. Contribution numbers are almost same not much of a difference.

Yes, there can be small differences, @SaifIS

So that is not the problem.

Have you made sure you to have the latest version of Maps and the OS on your phone?

Would you be able to try logging in on a friends mobile device to see if the issue is linked to your account or device?

I have never heard about this issue before, so maybe @InaS would care to assist you further.

PS I doubt the problem is related to moderation. In that case, the issue would be on both platforms.

Thank you for reaching out. Have you tried logging in on a different mobile phone and checking if you have the option to leave reviews? We are trying to figure out if what you are experiencing is located only on your mobile phone.
