One of the most beneficial things in our society today is accessibility to the things we want and need. The local guides program really is the backbone to connecting people with the things they want and need. When you’re looking for something and you need to know their hours and location, you have everything you need with accurate detail because local guides has confirmed, and double confirmed that the information is good.
My wife and I were on vacation in a small town (Galena, IL), and looking for a coffee shop. We found one on Google Maps that looked great and we drove by multiple times trying to find the place, only to ask around and find that the place had been closed for months. Because of the local guides program I was able to update the business information so that other people wouldn’t waste their time trying to find it.
I think one of the most critical parts of being a local guide is being able to check the facts, update them, and get people connected.
