Hi Guys! My name is Ahadin Syarifudin Fahmi Adimara you can call me Fahmi. I’m passionate in Mountaineering and Traveling so I can learn many things from my journey. Actually, I go often to many places in Indonesian and abroad. I’ve started my journey as a Local Guides since 2015, when only a few people in Indonesia knew about it. I know this program like a competition, but I think I can get more benefit not only reward but also new friend, great connection, powerful networking, and upgrade my passion. I believe Local Guides may hold people to spread the good information in every country. But, the best motivation to join Local Guides program is I want to help many people, especially Google Maps users in getting easier of finding a direction to the good places.

In a line with my motivation, I fight to improve tourism of Indonesia through photography and Local Guides. I understand my contribution needs many times and chances to increase foreign visitor in my country. But I have faith that not only Indonesia citizen but also foreigner will able to go to the best destination in my country because of Google Maps.

Until now, my contribution for Google Maps Program :

• Local Guide level 9 for 78,256 contributions (6,974 photos and 65,950,956 viewers).

• Google Street View Trusted Photographer for 501 photos (65,86M viewers).

Cause i’m very happy to be Local Guides and Google Street View Trusted Photographer at the same time. This is me, when I traveled overseas, I guided my friend to find the best place like Annapurna Mountain Nepal.

Traveling and learning about new cultures are my passions. I love to share to the others so they’re also able to see and feel what I see. I’d like to show you my several favorite places: mountain, nature, and wherever I can find a good taste of coffee. I feel alive when I’m in the mountain because nature can teach me many things, I can make connections and mingle in the coffee shop, and one thing, nature brings my face published in the Local Guides official website as a background in 2016.

My Dreams of Local Guides

As I remember, Bali Local Guides was the first community of Local Guides in Indonesia. Then my Sidoarjo Local Guides community becomes the second approved by Google in global list. To reveal and strengthen the Local Guides of Indonesia, I promote Indonesian Culture and Tourism trough my Instagram account @fahmiadimara and create several accounts such as @localguidesindonesia regional @sidoarjolocalguides & @localguidessurabaya to hold everybody to join in this community. These accounts help many people to know what is Local Guides in Indonesia because of Instagram very popular in Indonesia.
