The biking is greyed out in map details:
If I open a new incognito window of Chrome, Biking will be normal.
Could anyone offer a tip on how to enable Biking?
It used to work.

Most likely the biking net data is not available or of low quality in the area. The difference between the ingognito and the logged in version could be that your profile informs Google Maps about your location.
Are there any bike paths when you turn on the bike paths from incognito mode?
Cheers

Thank you for the elucidation, @MortenCopenhagen
You are right - the biking net data can be not available. I was looking at Tallinn. The incognito window opens to my area (Greater Boston) by default. It does not have biking data for Tallinn either.
I thought the biking data were available for Tallinn when I biked there and followed biking paths.
Thanks for the feedback.
It depends very much on the Local authorities if they have digital data on their bike paths or not.
I will visit Riga by bike this summer.
Cheers

I biked on May 11 in Riga. I thought Google Maps on my mobile phone showed bike paths and I followed them. I would love to hear if you see bike paths on your phone when you get there.
It would be very helpful if you would use the tagging tool when replying to someone here on Connect. Type @ followed by the username. Type slowly. Then we get an e-mail notification and you are more likely to get a prompt reply. Just hitting Reply does not ensure we get notified by email.
I trust you know bikemap.net. They heat map is fabulous in areas with no bikepaths on Google Maps.
The icon is not greyed out from Denmark but an error message says that the bike navigation is unavailable in Riga.

Thank you for the tip, @MortenCopenhagen
No, I did not know bikemap.net. I have just signed up. Thank you. I checked the map of Riga. It shows the exact bike path that I took to go to the Juglas Lake area. Next time, I am going to do the big loop.
@MortenCopenhagen I replied a moment ago but I cannot find my reply. If I still do not see it in 10 minutes, I will rewrite my previous reply.
@MortenCopenhagen I can see this short reply but still do not see my longer previous reply. Here is what I wrote (hope Google will not reject it automatically):
No, I did not know bikemap.net. I have just signed up. Thank you. It showed the exact path that I took to go to the area of Juglas Lake in Latvia. I will do the big loop next time.
@MortenCopenhagen I rewrote my slightly longer reply and it still does not show. I am going to write it again and take a screenshot before I send it. I have restarted Chrome.
I am rewriting my longer reply as follows:
No, I did not know bikemap.net. I have just signed up. Thank you. It shows the exact path that I took to the area of Juglas Lake. I will do the big loop next time.
Thank you, @MortenCopenhagen
Everything makes sense now except for the reason to categorize my simple reply as spam.
Don’t worry. It is know to be very sensitive. Repeated posts in short succession can trigger the spam filter.

@SholaIB Thank you for the clarification. I did not know this spam mechanism. I thought there might be a technical glitch.
