Hi everyone! My name is Felipe, I am from a small town in the interior of São Paulo named FRANCA and I’m proud of being a citizen of this city because I really love small towns, they’re historically important for some big cities because of the market and also the history involved by the founders. I believe the challenge as a Local Guide in small towns is to show for other people’s how a place is from the streets and inside, being their eyes or the simple help for someone who maybe is a hundred miles of distance and are coming to this city to visit or work and has doubt about some place to stay the night, eat or even party during their stay, the information of that places must be consistent. Small towns usually don’t have this attention because some people may or not believe in their potential business for food or even for tourism. Nearby my city we have more or less 21 small towns around us and all of them have their own particularities like, their business, churches, streets, some are stablished in higher altitudes and other between mountains, and they are also lovely and peaceful. My wife is from one of this small towns, just 5,5 miles of distance from Franca, we met the very first time here and we immediately got in love. Our romance was in distance (if we say so), I traveled to her city almost every day to see her, and she did the same sometimes, now we’re living together but always we can, we visit this small towns just imagining when we will come back.
