Who am I?
Hi, my name is Dela Azojani Adeorike and I am a Google level 6 local guide from Abuja, Nigeria. I just got my Bachellor of Arts Degree in English and Modern Languages and while waiting to serve my country, I decided to explore my fatherland and help others enjoy, learn and understand the geography, aesthetics and the culture of my people. And the Google Local Guides program has helped me in achieving that.
What Does the Google Local Guides Programs Mean to Me?
This program represents my passion, my willingness to impact knowledge as well as help people. It means a lot to me because it has helped me to share all my experiences in different places located in my country with people both far and near who may share different or same cultures and aesthetics. It has also helped me to make new friends, improve my photography skill, get new opportunities, gifts and has become one of my hobbies because it keeps me happy. This program has also helped me to enjoy and partake in the cultures of others and it helps me be a better person, a local hero and a local celebrity because many people count on my reviews which has helped over 18,000 people.
The most important thing is that this program has improved my confidence level to a whole lot of height. Even when Iâm exploring; making videos and taking photos, people look at me like a wierdo but I am not bothered because I know what, who, why and how those videos and photos will help those in need.
Due to these reasons, I strongly believe that the Google Local Guides Program has come to stay, Iâll choose it anytime, anyway and anywhere and I am happy to be a part of it.
I am very excited to partake in this application and I pray Iâll meet everyone in California to make wonderful memories.
