Hello, I’m Jaibhagwan Jindal and I’m living in a village in India. In my village there and many famous public places, govt. offices & Temples. Most the people of my village know them very well. But when the people came from outer village, they don’t know the actual location of the place, then they uses GOOGLE MAPS , But some newly opened places are not at google maps and in my villages no one can know how to add this place on google maps Then I started adding places on google map. I’m an engineering student and I always used google maps. I also want to add some place on google maps. Then I came to knows about Google’s local guides program. And I started the journey of showing the right path to people using google maps and I showed them the right way. “A short story by me on the most interesting thing I’ve done as a local guide” In our short village there was no pizza store in our village before, if we had to buy pizza, we had to go to a nearby city. One day, a Pizza store opened in our village, but no one was able to know about it because till that time the address of that pizza store was not available on Google Maps. I went to the market one day and I saw a pizza store and I went to it. And then I thought I would upload it on Google Maps so that no one else would have trouble finding it. I uploaded it to Google Map at the same time and also uploaded some of its pictures after that a lot of people started seeing it and even now, new views keep coming to my place daily.
