I had always used Google maps to check ratings for places but suddenly when I started travelling, I started looking in to more and more reviews and photos of the places I would like to visit. This would be my initial travel research and also while I am near a new neighborhood.
So I started with uploading images of food and scenic destinations. This I believe is the best way to make decisions and getting perspective.
I believe all businesses and destinations being reviewed should be fair and should be compared appropriately. I had seen many people review a hostel or a hotel in a foreign country by comparing it their own. I strongly believe restaurants, businesses and destinations should be rated fairly and comparatively to it’s place I’m the market. That is the main reason why I started sharing my own thoughts.
For this reason I usually wait for my travelling trip to finish before I start rating and reviewing places.
