“Tell us what you love sharing most on Google Maps and why. Whether you’re passionate about finding the world’s best French fries or making the map more eco-friendly, we want to know about it!
For example, your Connect post might be about how you like to add small businesses to the map, review the best dessert spots in your area, or answer questions about accessibility. Post your response in English using the Local Stories topic.”
I prefer posting answers to questions that are active in the system, verifying information in a way that is not opinion-based. I rarely write reviews because they are entirely subjective, and a user may not have the same view as the author. Fact-checking is the best way to convey information in a usable way as to allow other users to benefit from one’s experience. Even with a question approaching a subjective subject (such as the cost level of a restaurant or location), there is still a scale to measure against, providing a means of qualifying beyond opinion.
