I feel that, in general, there is a lack of a way to keep track of honest hard-working businesses and their less honest competition. I think that Google is going to change that using this maps platform. I have been reviewing things on Google now for some time and it feels good to commend a job well done, there is also a degree of admitted satisfaction in telling your story when you feel that you have been taken advantage of. Also these reviews serve as something to let new customers know what to expect. In the future I think online reviews will be taken very seriously and I have seen examples of this in action. I like reviewing new businesses because I feel that it can help to give new customers confidence in up and coming ventures.
Today a new reason to post came to be. I have been moving through the ranks as a local guide and today Google presented me with the opportunity to apply to be sent to a conference, part of the application is a post here.
