It’s been 2 years I have been contributing to Google maps and the experience has been amazing. It all started when I wanted to find a good place to dine at, I checked maps, found many places nearby but what confused where to go. This is where the Maps community comes in. People write a detailed review talking about their experience of a place, what are the good things they offer, what are the bad things. After reading the reviews you can decide where you want to go, that’s what inspired me. I wanted to help people find the perfect spot they wanted to go today, be it to eat, travel, stay. I wanted to tell people about my experience so that it will help them to make decisions. Contributions of other people have helped me a lot, and it was my turn to return the favor.
Also, huge credit for this goes to google maps, they have made it so easy to add reviews, pics, videos. If you are not comfortable writing a text review just give a star rating, answer the questions which are prompted.
