Why I post on Google Maps
As a delightful Google local guide and connoisseur of fine beverages, sumptuous local and continental cuisines and refreshing music, I love to explore my community and share the photographs, videos and accurate locations of the amazing restaurants and popular local hot spots where trendy people and insatiable patrons take in delectable meals, insightful and inspirational musical genres and sizzling beverages.
With the ingenious advent of Google Maps, I have been able to share inspiring and detailed locations of the famous restaurants and cafes in my area to numerous Google Maps users and my fellow gourmets across the globe. I have candidly answered questions about places that interest people, checked the facts and verified the info that people suggested about nearby places and uncovered missing info about places in my community.
I am Felix Acheampong, a patriotic citizen of the Republic of Ghana, and a proud local guide for Google Maps, currently at level seven where I have achieved laurels and badges such as: Novice Reviewer, Novice Photographer, Novice Trailblazer and Novice Director. As a fledgling local guide, I am humbled to have achieved this great feat and I wholeheartedly attribute this honor to the ingenuity of Google Maps.
I initially starting posting on Google Maps as a recreational activity but I had an epiphany upon realizing the great impact my contributions have become resourceful to other Google Maps users. Reaching this level has served as a feather in my cap and I intend to keep up with the good and selfless work I have begun.
I aspire to become a renowned food scientist and hence I mostly love to share locations about finest restaurants and cafes in my community. I am passionate about finding the world’s best eateries where crunchy chicken wings, yummy burgers and sizzling beverages are.
Human- beings eat to live and the health and mental well-being of any human living on this planet thrive on the wholesomeness and nutritional composition of the food we consume. A sound mind dwells in a healthy body, and therefore what we take in as food as humans, should be considered as a critical matter that ought not to be compromised with.
My mission as a local guide on Google Maps is to unearth and highlight the latest restaurants and cafes in town where consumers who desire yummy foods, spicy animal products and exquisite beverages are satisfied.
My utmost dream as a local guide on Google Maps is to serve as a beacon and a paragon of satiation- thus helping to fulfill the insatiable desires of connoisseurs of crunchy chicken wings and yummy burgers is all I look forward to achieving this accolade.
I am devoted to making my community more navigable and Eco- friendly to all humans and users of Google Maps: irrespective of their race or nationality, religious affiliation, educational background, marital, social and economic status, cultural and tribal affinity, ethnicity, gender, political affiliation, skin color and physique.
Furthermore, with the indispensable aid of Google Maps, my secondary vision is to make the Republic of Ghana one of the ideal travel destinations for international tourists and create a conducive atmosphere for distinguished foreign nationalities to blend in with hospitable Ghanaians and experience the dynamic nature of our culture and rich heritage.
This would help revamp the tourism sector through the generation of foreign exchange in order to boost the economy of the nation.
Since the Republic of Ghana is the gateway to West Africa, as a patriotic citizen of this sovereign nation, I desire to create a universal platform on Google Maps where my resourceful contributions will propel the rich African values, ethics, infrastructural designs and natural resources unto a global pedestal.
This would help to strategically place small and medium- scale business enterprises on the global market to compete favorably among their international counterparts in the industrial space.
Google Maps has tremendously equipped and empowered numerous Google users and local guides, myself included, to be more agile and resilient in answering questions about our communities and accessibility to certain facilities located within our society.
Google local guides have been able to contribute massive quota to their communities effectively through avenues such as checking facts and verifying the information about nearby places that users suggest and uncovering missing details about places near our community.
This has enabled residents in the community to become more resolute and conscious of their surroundings and more abreast with modern trends happening across the globe.
I truly believe that resourceful reviews, ratings, videos, discoveries, edits, questions and answers as well as photos about places, which local guides upload on Google Maps, collectively make our communities a safe haven for travelers and potential tourists.
Majority of Google users who fancy traveling and exploring the earth for vacation, leisure, business and therapeutic purposes rely on the contributions of Google local guides.
Potential tourists, who plan to visit novel places for recreational activities, rely on these resourceful contributions in order to take precautionary measures that relieve or alleviate them from paranoid health and safety concerns and give them a foresight on what to expect in their new vicinity.
