Hey guys I just wanted to share my reasons about why I share my experiences on Google Maps. Many times I’ll bump into a new restaurant or venue and have a remarkable experience and I think to myself “how come no one ever told me about this place?” So I upload info about that place so I can share it with the Google community so other people can enjoy too. But more importantly I feel almost obligated to share my experience to help small businesses thrive and grow in our communities. A small business owner who just opened up shop would appreciate a few kind words on Google Maps a lot more than a $2 or $3 tip. I know how much it would mean to me if I was that store owner so the least I can do is treat someone else as how I would like to be treated especially if it doesn’t cost me anything except a couple seconds of my time.
