Why I Love Writing Reviews and How to Make it the Best

There are many businesses who do the right thing. There are many businesses who do the wrong thing. The times where businesses do the right thing, consumers always hear about them. How often do you hear when a business takes advantage of their clients? Not very often…

There are not making people who write the dreaded one star review. There are not making people who will show their name and profile picture when writing the one star review. I am one of those people who will reveal the reasons to justify my one star review.

When someone responds to my review privately to address the issues they have with the business and seek my help, I know I did my job. This is why I write these reviews. I do them to help people that will potentially get scam, won’t get their money back, or will deal with a lousy business person. I help others not go through what I went through and save their time. It makes me feel that I did the right thing when I informed others of a terrible business transaction. This is how I help the community as I do get contacted a lot for one star reviews. I even got contacted 5 years after a review as a said businesspeople was still running a scheme! At the end, I do feel very accomplished. I also improved on my writing, which was not my intentions, but it was good feeling as well.

So, when you need to write a one star review, remember, you are not the first to ever write a one star review. Be brave and courageous. Start with a positive comment if you are somehow need to continue business with them. For instance, I loved living in my apartment and the part of the city where it is located. I hated the manager. Therefore, I started a review of why I love living in the place to deter people from wondering why I choose not to move. If you need to, take screenshots, pixie out the private information, and post them with your review.

Next, get to the nitty gritty part and be real. Do not whatsoever use any curse words or attack the person/s on a personal level. Make it sound like people will take you seriously. You don’t want to sound like someone ranting.

End with a comedic note. Sometime a small rant from what was stated in the review will actually come across comedic to readers. Most people actually do read an entire review of a one star rating whether they admit it or not. Especially when most ratings are, 5 star, a one star rating stands out. Always include a reason for the one star. Never leave it blank. Then people will read it, your writing will be better, and people will trust you more. I also want to know if this way works for you as it did with me.
