I’m local guide since 2016 before that i was unaware of the fact that there is something on Google maps through which we can contribute on Google maps or we can make changes on Google maps by adding or reviewing new places . I came to know about contribution when I was using maps and I found something there is contribute tab in app I clicked that tab and that time I was completely unaware that how contribution works.somehow I found how to add photos. I used to add photos on Google maps and later I came to know about there are more features on contribution that time I came to know that only adding photos is not a single feature of contribution available on Google maps there are lots of things we can do and help people and when I started uploading pictures I found my points table increased it Made me anxious to add more and more photos and my photos started getting increment in views and there are some perks which are regularly provided by Google to local guide .
Once I received drive storage data my cousin saw I he asked me how you got that much data I told him I just contribute in Google maps and Google map has provided me this thing which is totally free he asked me how to do and what to do to get perks in Google maps I told him what you to do and I told him how to contribute in Google map and I told him everything you have to add photos review and adding new places and he also started this program and within few months of contribution he also got some perks through Google and I was happy to help him that he also started helping others by contributing more on Google .
Whenever I used to come to my village I saw lots of places are missing and there are some roads which are also missing many shops , petrol pump ,and apartment , government offices are missing so I thought that I have to help people to find these places easier by himself/herself just by using their smartphone they don’t have to roam here and there for asking people about any place .I have added many places on Google maps with pictures which helped many people which creates life easier and which also saves time .
Sometimes it made me feel awkward whenever I just capture picture of their shop they started staring at me that why Im taking pictures after that I tell them add that i will add your place on Google maps which will help others to find your shop your easily it’s also beneficial for you .
Once my friend’s smartphone screen got broken that was of mi and we were tried a lot to search on Google maps ’ mi service center’ but we got no results . someone told that there is a service center approx 3 kms away from my home as soon I reach I found that that service was unavailable on Google maps so I quickly added that place on Google maps and and within few days that place started getting views .

In Delhi there’s an ancient monument named Agrasen ki baoli which was built in 14th century that place was amazing that place was used for bathing purpose by the King. It was built by legendary king Agrasen

This place has beautiful architecture I used Google maps and uploaded it’s picture to help others to visit this unique place .
I’m very happy that I’m helping others to know any places better by reading my reviews provided by me.

Once I got a mail that I’m in top 5% in my area I feel very Happy that my photos,reviews and videos are appreciated by people it feels like a Local celebrity because I got likes on photos it makes me feel good and it makes me anxious to contribute more and help more and more people the more photos I will add the more views I will get and the more love from people I will get. I had added many shops on Google maps and the owner, they were so happy that there shop can be found on Google map they appreciated my work that make me feel good from my inner heart that people are loving my work I love helping others the More and more people like my work the more appreciation I will get .It made me feel so special it matters alot in my life that I don’t have to do labour just by adding picture, places and reviews I’m getting getting love from people.
Whenever I came to know my photos getting more and more views and liked by people it made me feel like a celebrity.
