There are very few people in the world who does not love food. For me eating delicious food is an art. Yes, today I am going to share with all of my Local Guides fellows about why I love to share restaurant information with food pictures on Google Maps.
Before that I want introduce myself very shortly. My name is Pavel Sarwar. I am a Tech Entrepreneur, Community Leader, Food Lover & a Level 8 Google Local Guide. My home country is Bangladesh. Now I am based in Malaysia. Personally I love traveling, taking photos, and eating at different restaurants. I eat like a Local anywhere I go!
I joined Local Guides program in 20 February 2015 and found that is a best platform ever you can get help and also you can do help for others.
Most of the time why am I writing Restaurant review and upload Food Picture? I visited Nepal for the first time in 2016. It was my first time to go out of the Bangladesh. The first few days of Nepal I have faced the problem of taking food. Nepal is a tourist country. So many travels from Bangladesh also love to visit Nepal. I met some other Bangladeshi travelers in the hotel. They were facing also same problem for finding Halal or similar with Bangladeshi food.I realized that not only me but also so many travelers also facing same problem for lacking of information. That time I remember one of the Headline from old Local Guides webpage_Live like a Local anywhere you go!._
So, I decided that eat like a local any where I go and i am starting contribution for improving restaurant information on Google Maps. Because sometimes I also face many problems inside Bangladesh for finding restaurants those restaurant have meal what i want to eat. In Bangladesh also different district has different types of recipes. I wanted to help other travelers and I stared to taking all foods picture and writing reviews of the restaurant’s the ones I go to eat.

After that I traveled few more counties and I am continuously contribution on Google Maps. Specially writing review and uploading pictures.

In 2017 I moved to Malaysia. As you know that Malaysia is a truly Asia. Malaysia is heaven for food loves like me. So you can test any types of food in Malaysia. Specially Malaysian, Arabian, Chinese and Bangladeshi Food. In Malaysia there are more than 2M Bangladeshi expat are living and so many Bangladeshi and travelers from other countries come to do work, visit, and study.

So I mentioned before I love to eat in different restaurants so that I started to find Bangladeshi Restaurant in Malaysia. I already visited almost every Banagladeshi Restaurants. So sometimes my friends want to know that where to eat will be good during their Malaysia tour.

Now I eat like a Local in Malaysia. In Malaysia Malaysian food also very delicious. After moved to Malaysia, every day I try to capture all food which I eat regularly. And I also try to upload pictures on Google Maps with Tag. The best option in Google Maps for me is the food habit match. Its help me lot.
I also try to capture food menu picture with price. I think its help travels. I have a story about this. Few months ago I went a restaurant with one of my Malaysian friend to try something new food. I tried to find the food menu with price. But they don’t have Google My Business and also don’t have any picture with food name and price. We went this restaurant and we saw that price is too high. It was embarrassing for us.
So I try to tell the restaurant or small business owner for using Google My Business. I also try to take picture of the food menu with price.
Few more things i also try to include my review. Specially the information about accessibility and Toilet. I find many restaurant they have good interior and delicious food. But sometimes their toilet not clean.
I have so many reason and behind story for contributing related food. It’s hard to explain by one post. I am trying to write all on Local Guides Connect. Local Guides Connect is best platform for me to connect with all awesome local guides around the world.
