I don’t remember how old I was when I’ve realized that I love to eat and food is something special and important to me. After, as I was growing up, my passion was transformed and I found out that it’s not only important what you eat, but whom with, where, what is an atmosphere around you etc. Later I’ve started cooking myself and can say that maybe I’m not the brilliant but also not bad in it. Hmm, telling the truth, I’m quite good. I like to change receipts, to get them closer to my taste or just create some new.
About food: not only Google, but food also unites people and it could be very strong connective factor. Let’s say that you and this person sitting in front of you during business meeting have no mutual opinion to any subject you discuss and then, while having a small chat during 5 minutes break you’ve found out that both of you are crazy for pasta! and that’s enough, it’s a sparkle for big fire and it must not be excluded that you may go to agreement even in business.
I’m not going to list examples of simple truth like how people are trying to treat their beloved persons to delicious food etc. Let’s turn back to the point why I use to share with my food photos on Google Maps. When I’m looking for interesting receipts, restaurants and cafes trying to find out what to cook or what to order, of course I want to see how it looks like. My one and only browser is Google and I clearly remember my first shock when I’ve realized that all this information, all photos were uploaded by ordinary users like me. I was Google user and after this discovery I became Google Local Guide. I share with Google Maps not only with food photos but also places in Georgia and outside it I visit, but among them most popular are still food pics and it once more verified my assertion that food connects people!
