It is important to sometimes focus on the beautiful things in live. Those things give you strength to carry on even when life is hard sometimes. I find beauty in many things like art, nature and food.
Art
Some, I must admit are quite literal, like in art which for me is best performed on metal concerts or in the opera. Also, I admire old paintings, like Caspar David Friedrich, Edvard Munch or Salvador Dalí. Whenever I plan a trip, I always check Google Maps for the best art galleries in whichever city I am. Right now, I am planning my first trip to Warsaw and am excited to explore the art there.
Nature
Then, as well, I find beauty in nature. While hiking through mountains and breath-taking landscapes. Here as well Google Maps contributes to find the best spots for hiking usually, I just play around with the map and zoom in on anything that is green and has a bit blue, to find my next hiking route. That’s how on my last trip to Scotland I found Glencoe, the perfect base camp for our trips. Like the one to Castle Tioram which turned out to be the best hike during the whole trip.
Food
Finally, there is beauty in trying new food. For me, it does not matter if it is in a fancy restaurant, a brewery or on a mountain top. What counts is the experience with friends or family or even alone, when you are just treating yourself. Google Maps always has the best recommendations and is my go-to whenever I am feeling like trying a new place. Without the community who is taking pictures and recommending spots or just rating them all of this would hardly be possible.
So why do I love to share my love for beauty on Google Maps? Because I want to help people to include beauty into their lives. Google Maps helped me to find so much beauty and for me it is important to give as much back as possible to the community.
