Fridays are the best days for almost all corporate workers in Ghana not to talk of all those who also look forward for Friday to just wind down from the week’s activities. I love Fridays; one of the days I look forward to and its a ritual for me to by all means hit town and have some fun.
On Fridays most likely places for me to visit include the restaurants, pubs and the night clubs. These places include Bloombar, Champs, Zen Garden, Suncity, Coco Lounge, Urban Grill, Skybar, Carbon, Golden Tulip Hotel, Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Kenpinski Hotel and so many more. The best places for me though are the pubs because I get to eat there, listen to good music and dance afterwards. When I get there the first thing I look out for is the ambience of the place; the place must be welcoming, very comfortable, nice view to take pictures, etc.
I then look at the menu!!! I look out for the restaurants’ special recipe and I try that. It can be their special cocktail drink or their special meal. Most of the time this meal is the best meal on the menu and I never go wrong with that.
I then look out for friendly staff. That is so important it’s not funny cos that’s what is going to determine if I am coming back or not. With my line of work in Ghana, customer service is key and I am always in a hurry to give them feedback if their customer service is poor.
Next thing I look out for is the washrooms…A bad or untidy washroom does not gel for me. That will speak a lot about the place I am about to eat and have fun.
Of aall the things I look out for of places I visit, I love to take pictures of them all. I love sharing pictures of food I eat, of the ambience of a place as well as the view of things around from where I go to. I love it when I am in the pictures as well and I love to share them all. I want people to see how beautiful these places are when they visit.
