It’s all started way back in 2005 when I finished my 3 years mandatory army service In the idf , and like most of the Israel is my age started to look for the perfect place to celebrate my New freedom , of course I immediately turned to Google for help ,I spend days and nights reading about great places around the globe , I read about tropical islands and about deserts , I read about small villages in about big busy cities , I read about close places and about far away places at the end of the world .
I spent a few months reading and trying to decide where to go , and then I realized the more I read the more confused I become , there what’s so many interesting and wonderful places around the globe so it was impossible to pick one , I needed something that could help me to decide.
At that moment I decided to try to photo search option , I created at least off the top places that I wanted to visit and then I ran a photo search for each one of them and then I’ve seen what photos excite me the most , that process make it a lot easier to decide which country to visit .
I flew to Australia and had the best vacation ever , when I returned from Australia I remembered the photos that helped me to decide where to go and I was determined to do the same for other people and help them to plan the perfect location with the help photos ,and of course Google maps was the perfect platform for that job , I started to take a lot of pictures in my vacations ( and there was a lot of them ) and upload them to the app for other users to see and use , and now every time I see people I’m watching my photos and react to them I remembered the first time that I use the photos from this app and play my vacation I get Fe and proud that I can help other people the same way , and vets give me more motivation to continue and upload more photos from all around the globe
