My Name is Micheal Oyormide Ayomiwa Etiwe, am from Nigeria and i currently live there
The reason i love sharing on google map:
is mainly because of where am from… in the past years my country has had its own fair share of bad and negative output portrayed to the world and this stigma has clenched to us really tight that a lot of people don’t want to take a second thought of my country (NIGERIA) and its people with out having a underlay bad and negative thoughts to it
So when the google map and its local guide came to be, i was so excited because i thought its a great way to show how wonderful my country truly is regardless of what some people might think they know and don’t know, plus i love exploring and seeing places meeting people and trying new local dishes out, which Nigeria is very rich in based on our multi cultured tribes which forms our economy and the country as a whole
So far google map has made it easy for me to take long drives to places i haven’t been before and the local guide has allowed me share this places, review and remark on them in so doing helping others have a feel of what to expect
Thanks for making things easy for me and a whole lot of people around the world google, i can tell you guys that you dont know how GREAT!!! this idea you created is…
It’s good to know what you love sharing on Maps. Since you will use this post in your connect live application, as a requirement it should be in ‘Local stories’ not in this ‘How-tos’ label. Hope this helps.
