My name is Dian Arianto, a level 7 local guide. I have been a local guide since 2016. I come from Cirebon, West Java, Indonesia. Currently, I study at Universitas Indonesia majoring Computer Science.
I love being a local guide because I love exploring and reviewing places. It can help people before going to their destination. I love reviewing a Mosque or a prayer room in a building. I hope by reviewing those places I can help my Muslim friends finding a prayer room.
Yesterday, I visited Cirebon with my friends. We departed from Jakarta by train at 07.35 AM. We explored Cirebon in just 2 days. We visited Sunyaragi Cave, At-taqwa Mosque, and Telaga Nilam.
At Sunyaragi, we went around the cave and take photos. This cave has a historical story. In the past, this cave used by the sultan of Cirebon for meditation. It has some caves. We entered those cave, it was such an incredible experience!
After visiting Sunyaragi Cave, we went to At-Taqwa Mosque to take prayer. Actually, in Sunyaragi Cave, there is a prayer room inside the complex. But we decided to take prayer in At-Taqwa Mosque.
At-Taqwa Mosque is located in the heart of Cirebon City. In there, we took a Maghrib prayer. The uniqueness of the Mosque is you can donate your money to the mosque using a digital wallet such as Go-Pay, Ovo, Dana, and T-Cash (now LinkAja). It simplified the way of donating. If you visit this Mosque, you can also take drinking water provided by the Mosque. It really helps people who need water.
The next day we went to Telaga Nilam (Nilam Lake), this lake is very lovely! You can go swimming in the lake. Its water is very clear, you can take a photo in the water. We were also doing food-crawl in Cirebon! We ate the Mie Get located near Cirebon Station and Empal Gentong H. Apud dishes. They are very delicious. You must try it if you visit Cirebon.
I also gave my review to those places in Google Maps. I hope by giving a review and sharing my experience I can help people finding the uniqueness of places, and can help the tourism of my city get better and more friendly.
