My best thing to do on google maps is reviewing restaurants and shops in Manchester. Especially restaurants that champion the diversity and creativity our city has to offer.
The usual thing people do when they are looking for restaurants or shopping centres is to see what other people have said and reviewed about that place. Well, at least that is what I do most of the time.
This is what has influenced my reviews since day one. It is to provide people with the confidence to experience new restaurants and shops without feeling daunted in Manchester (whether you are visiting the city or you are local). I always like to add to the list of previous reviews to boost the trust of people with regards to locations in Manchester. Manchester has a lot of things to offer and with honest reviews people can be bold enough to try new things or eat in restaurants at new locations with a transparent review.
One of my favourite restaurants to eat at in Manchester is the Drop in Chorlton, Manchester. This is a Caribbean restaurant that serves one of the most authentic flavours in the city. Really small and quirky place that makes you feel the Caribbean culture and beach vibes in the urban city of Manchester.
Another spot is Mughli Charcoal Pit. This Indian restaurant just takes it away with regards to immersing you into the culture and cuisine whilst giving you a heighten experience of class/sophistication in the heart of Manchester’s curry mile. Love the ‘char’ aspect of the cooking which adds a unique taste to the meat and lamb. Really worth checking out.
This is just a tip of the ice berg but I love reviewing these types of locations because I believe it gives people an insight into the diversity this city has to offer. From not just in food, but culture, people and lifestyles.
