Here, I still remember uploading my first picture on Local Guide, I recently joined college and moved to a different city. And as they say, the best part of being in the new city is that you can be whomever you want and explore. As I explored around its normal to click pictures, but through a Friend, I got to know about Local Guides and I decided to give a try.
This was the closest and the only supermarket at my College (VIT, Vellore, India). I started with this picture and so many more and with the number of views I was getting and Google Constantly reminding the way my pictures were making a difference kept me Motivated and today I am at Level 6, still growing and totally loving the experience.
I truly believe that this platform isn’t just about sharing pictures, posting reviews but more of sharing the beautiful moments with others which sometimes they might fail to witness.
Not every day is this Beautiful, and not everyone is fortunate enough to see the nature this close and this beautiful.
So beautiful,
An amazing campus, to wander around and enjoy clicking pictures.
These are just the glimpse, you get to share with the people constantly using Google Maps. And from this to reviewing restaurants was a completely different experience for me.As a constant user of Google Maps, I always wanted to make it a better place for all the Foodies out there and looking for fancy places with much different concept, good food, and lovely ambience. And I started to upload photos and write reviews as a local guide to help all those people. Here are a few quick looks if you are visiting Bangalore:
There is much more to share, and experience as a Local Guide and I think Connect Live 2019 will bring me that platform to reach out to other Local Guides. Also while writing this post, I wanted people to know about lovely places and also to convey the message that it’s so much fun to be a local guide. Finally about me,
I am Keyur Kariya, currently doing my Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering, from Surat, India.
