Although I love reviewing everything I come across which can be a dam near some hill station, amusement park, monument, museum or a gym. What I love the most is reviewing restaurants specifically serving Punjabi cuisine.
I have found a lot of people including myself fond of Punjabi food(originating in Punjab, a region in the northern part of India and some part of Pakistan). And so I have also created the list(Tandoori with Tadka) of restaurants serving the best Punjabi food.
This post is about the cause I am working on. To help small arcane businesses which are genuinely adding value to the society but are not getting enough applause they deserve. And doing the same is by far the most interesting thing to me as a Local guide.
In the posh area of Koramangala amid Bangalore city, opposite to The Forum Mall. This restaurant still serves moderately priced but superb fast food with a new concept of Big Eating. I remember coming across this restaurant by accident, after coming from a movie with my friends(Sanket and his wife Meeta). A nice accident. Met the owner myself who was too friendly and wanted every single customer to be satisfied with all they have got irrespective of the business profit they make. I liked them so much that I genuinely wanted to see them getting famous and so reviewed them on Gmaps. Also recommended this restaurant to a lot of my friends and requested them to review too. In no time, this restaurant became too famous and I hardly find anyone now who doesn’t know Truffles. Glad to know that I played a bit of a role in the success of their business. Now, every time Sanket comes to visit me, we have a destination fixed for our gossips.
Nandi Valley Winery (Kinvah Vineyards)
While there are not many vineyards and those available are far in the outskirts of Bangalore, this vineyard is easily accessible. I and my friends came across this place when we didn’t get bookings confirmed in other vineyards. I can’t forget this place as the first white wine I tasted was here. They are the God of Hospitality. From welcome drink, lunch buffet, unlimited wine to team games and free wine bottles, Nandi Valley Winery(Kinvah Vineyards) are the best vineyard in Bangalore but most of the people aren’t aware of it. My tour here on winemaking, wine tasting, meeting the finest sommelier & learning how to appreciate wines made me irresistible to review them and share my experience within my friend circle and beyond so this Vineyard can get huge number of genuine and quality reviews.

I feel that by contributing to Google Maps- I am adding value to these small businesses at a deeper level because of their need to be highlighted, while they get suppressed among giant businesses. Thanks to the awesome platform Gmaps is, we(business owners and customers) can connect very easily and efficiently, keeping things transparent and lively.
