I mostly upload photos to Google Maps. I am a filmmaker by trade and a keen photographer. Thanks to my job I’m travelling often and quite frequently get to see new and interesting places, and always try to snap pictures of everywhere I go. Recently I’ve had the chance to go to Montreal, New York, Miami, Herrenberg (Germany), and Salzburg, as well as lots of places around the UK where I am based.
As time has gone on I’ve expanded this to also post reviews, answer questions about places, and now even post videos as a recent addition to Maps.
It’s interesting to see which photos get the most views - I’ve got one that has over 1m views, but it’s nothing special, and photos I’m much more proud of that barely have any view at all! It helps me to learn more about what kind of photos I should focus on uploading to help make the community stronger.
