I’m keeping this post really brief, as I believe that conveying a message is best done when it’s short and sweet and it also addresses the topic. So, here we go.
Why do I love posting on Google Maps? Hmm, there are a lot of reasons. For starters, it is to help others find out about a place where I’ve already gone to. I usually google a place I am going to visit and check the reviews for important tips such as when do they serve some specials, when do they close, how was their experience. It gives me confidence to know that I can visit that place or maybe I can skip and go somewhere else. I try to post informative reviews so that the reader is well-informed. It also raises awareness. If it’s a new place, then posting reviews on google helps the place gain more visitors because people trust people and people trust Google. Another reason I do that is because I like visiting places and taking photos. So it’s another medium to share with the world.
I’ll sign off this post with one of my favorite photos of my travels. I was attending a colleague’s wedding and this photo is a snap from when my group was traveling to a different state to attend the wedding. And it has a train!!! I dig train travel! The amount of time a train journey takes gives you a lot of time to focus on different things, your thoughts go around the world and you get time to introspect. That’s why I like it.
