My name is Victor Aina a freelance photographer from Nigeria, Africa. As a freelance photographer I love taking great pictures of places I visit and people I see or food that I try out on my phone and sharing them on local guide.What I enjoy sharing the most on local guide are pictures that I take. A picture speaks a thousand words, and I personally believe that the more detail you put into your reviews by means of adding photographs taken by you would sort of engage and enlighten people more about certain locations on the map. Why I love sharing them is the fact that i get to contribute in my own little way to my online community and share my images for different people to view, seeing the number of people that gets to view my pictures posted on local guide alone make me happy! I also love making the map more eco-friendly, I give reviews and answer questions on local guide stating my experience and observations about a particular place i visited.
In conclusion I love the “nostalgia” feeling that comes from looking back on old reviews. Sometimes, when I get the “wanderlust itch,” I go back and view my timeline and read about my experiences to satisfy the need, and relive the trip.
There are many other reasons why I love being a local guide, but in all honesty, it comes down to the following favourite reasons:
Travelling, Experiencing, Sharing, Photographing, Living contributing, reviewing. All of which I get out of the Google Local Guide community.
