Name: Chukwuma Nkwocha. Friends call me Zane.
Location: AL Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Originally from Nigeria
What I like about being a local guide: Travelling is a hobby. I love to visit new places, meet people and make new friends. I love to hang out and have a good time. Being a local guide affords me the opportunity to document places I have been to and places I will love to visit.
Again, I love to help out in whatever capacity I can. Google maps and local guides has given me an opportunity to do this by creating the ability to put small businesses on the map. This gives these businesses the exposure they need to thrive and grow.
It is said that life is better when it is shared. Sharing my experiences by reviewing places I’ve been to, more especially the good experiences, gives people the opportunity to know if they’ll like to have the same experience or not and also acts as a guide to people visiting those places for the first time.
Furthermore, those reviews help business owners to either improve on the services they render or consolidate on already existing services to drive better customer service.
I will not call myself a foodie, but I love to have a taste of local dishes anywhere I go. I can not take this food away but I can only keep a memory, so when I take a picture, I can share them on Google maps to show the world where I’ve been to and what I’ve just had.
Favorite places to visit: The beach, museums and cultural centers, the zoo, wildlife and parks, natural habitats, waterfalls and fountains, deserts, restaurants and clubs.
Fun fact about me: I’ll rather take a boat ride than swim, I prefer cold weather to hot weather, I enjoy driving for long distances.
