Why I love being a Local Guide!

byNere

Back in 2004 I used to work at Sage Telecom as a Junior consultant, and it was a terrible thing to get the “I am moving and I want to transfer my phone service” call, there was no way we could get that done in a 4:20min phone call. We needed to ask the customer how could we get to the new address so the technician could install the line. It was actual hell. People born in 2000 don’t know the struggle.

In 2010, I went to Barcelona as a student, and couldn’t afford a cellphone nor internet service. I remember getting lost because I had my printed map and it started raining so the map literally fell apart in my hands. I started working in a play and drove all across Spain, and it was awsome! I loved sharing the spots I visited with family and friends, it would have been great to be able to share my experience with the world.

Now that I am living in Mexico City, we’ve com along way both Google Maps and I. I love sharing experiences, helping small business to join the interactive map and grow their business, letting people know a safe way to know this beautiful city, also I really do believe we can do better for this world, if we have on line traffic status, maybe we can improve the air quality and last if my favorite restaurant is wheel chair accessible I want everyone to know.

Mexico is a beautiful country and it is better if you get to know the tips before comming over, so here I am, willing to help you with that.

Also I like to think I am doing quality assurance since I work as a Google Maps Reseller. I want to know, that what I am selling is the best.

Love Google, love IT, love art, love the world…
