After my girlfriend and I finished our military service, we decided to travel the world for a few months. I decided that during this trip I would share my experiences with the local guidance community, with the documentation and recommendations that I would write on Google Local Guides.
During the trip I wrote dozens of different reviews and started to get feedback. I immediately realized that through my reviews people are exposed to different restaurants / attractions / cultures and experiences.
I felt that I had the ability to influence and help different people, small businesses and simply share the community with funny and cool pictures. one of them, was exposed to almost 800K views - a picture I called “biggest bed EVER”.
To be a Googles local guide for me, is to be able to influence and help, get help and plan trips optimally.
