Why I like sharing on Google Maps and What I share

Hello Everyone,

I use Google Maps very often, and I have seen people using Google Maps for locations, to find a route to particular place, to see pictures and reviews of the place.

While using Google Maps, I realised whenever I have to go new place or even if the place which I know, I usually check the Google Map,

  1. To see the route and traffic

  2. To check if the place has good ratings

  3. Sometimes also to check the phone number, so that I can call and understand few things, if required

  4. To check the place through visuals, pictures and what people have reviewed about it

So basically I understood these are few things which you can easily access on one single app for any given place. So, then I started sharing things as I saw people using it for the similar reasons.

My interest of sharing is basically not just one thing but many.

I like to travel so I share reviews and images wherever I have been to, which includes the places, food, restaurants and hotels.

I also like to explore food which makes me visit sometimes new and sometimes known food places of which I share the reviews and pictures.

I also review and share images or information about the area I am at, if at all I find that is missing on Google, then I will try and share it as much as possible as I think it will help people.

The basic idea behind sharing on Google Map is to help the people and make it as friendly, transparent, convenient and easy as possible.
