I really enjoy Local Guides and use it all the time. It’s a great way to find out what’s going on and where everything is in an area where I happen to be or where I want to go. I use it when I’m getting ready to travel to somewhere I’ve never been. I look up restaurants, bars and attractions a few times a week. It’s nice to be able to see what other people have thought about some place and see the pics they have shared. I’ve even used it to see what the weather might be like and how to dress when I get there. Another thing I’ve found is that I am able to enjoy some amazing places that I may never get to actually visit. It’s like traveling the world from my armchair. Local Guides has helped me more times than I can think of and I do as much as I can to give back. I try to post everytime I go somewhere new. It’s also cool to go back and check out my timeline. What an amazing tool.
