I am a photography lover. I love taking pictures.This is how I first started getting involved as a local guide. I was sharing my experience only with photos just to help other people to choose or to decide.
After earning some beginners badge I started reviewing places known to me. I didn’t have till that time realize how useful application Google maps was.
I soon noticed that my photos had views and also how useful they were for some people. That was the reason why I took it more seriously. In a little while I had better results as a local guide as was now doing more ratings and reviews. There was one more thing that motivated me, the e-mail from Google. Icould apply to Join Connect 2019 at Google in San Jose, California!- If I was lucky to be chosen- I was so surprised!
I believe now that both travelers and citizens are facilitated by Google maps as they are earning time when they use the app.
A Google guide helps people in their quests and it’s a substantial contribution to further development of Google maps
I just wish as a local driver I had even more benefits and access to more functions!
