I uploaded pictures/vids of a place, but I don’t see the points count anymore :/, it just shows thanks for improving google maps. This started like a week ago.
Can someone help?
I think this started when I reported a place that closed and a new business opened, and I haven’t seen that change in the Google maps (the old place is still currently shown in google maps ilas open).

Since Feb 7th I too have not seen the points counting splash screen.
Don’t worry though as it is just a motivating gimmick. The points are still awarded as normal.
I hope it will return.

@Cristhm since you say so, I remembered having seen the same yesterday and also now after responding to questions on the Maps app under Android. Unfortunately, I did not compare the total number of points before and after. Did you?
@MortenCopenhagen did you or anybody else notice this too?
Thank you for the explanation! I have a similar experience, but in addition of not seeing points when I add a photo, I’m not seeing any photo I added in the last 4 weeks. Previously, the photos I added went online in a matter of minutes, if not seconds.
Is something going on with content moderation?
