Why i do this

There’s something intrinsically satisfying about posting a review. Its knowing that it could assist in improving practice and celebrating a great service! Acknowledgement of my reviews, good or constructive criticism, by businesses is great! Especially when there’s a desire to change practice. Equally, where exceptional services has been identified I feel morally and socially obliged to project aspects of service that have been great.

I’m keen to shape and Contribute to social discuss, enabling and informing would be customers of their anticipated experience. Also answering questions from fellow local guides is part of integrating socially. I recently visited Norwich theatre where a watched an amazing play. Shared details of the experience and was asked question which I gladly answered. It’s experiences like this, although virtual brings everyone together.

It’s also fulfilling projecting local business through my experience. I love exploring and I’ve been opportune to come across amazing places and businesses. Pye bakery was a little gem of a cafe on Dereham road in Norwich. They had a great selection of pastry, cakes and local produce.

Equally, i enjoy exploring and experiencing new cultures therefore an added opportunity to share my travel experience through pictures and reviews to give richness to my journey and inspire someone to explore.

Hello @Uzo82 ,

You may be new to Connect or writing to share a post for your Connect Live application. If you’re applying to Connect Live be sure to share a link to a new Connect post responding to this year’s application prompt. You can find everything you need to know about writing a post for Connect Live 2019 here.

As this looks like an application post, I have relabelled it to Local Stories to stick within the guidelines.

Hi Mortensi,

Thank you for your message. I bet you can sniff out a newbie! I would like to know if I’ve got the opportunity to review my post as having had the opportunity to review the criteria I’m keen to put in a great foot in for the connect live 2019.

Thanks
