Every time when I have to move outside I prefer using Maps from my mobile or PC than to inquire from people. When I was in Iran, Google Maps helped me to find the beautiful historical and sacred places, hotels, juice and food corners. When I travelled from Tehran to Qom, I got assistance from Google maps and it helped me in every domain. While using map, I realized that less places were showed by Google maps. First I think that it might be due to the restrictions by the internet companies. When I opened maps, and opened “check the facts”, I realized that people add their places but due to low use of Google Maps users, lot of facts are needed to be checked. So I decided that this is the time to contribute in Google Maps. With the help of my cousin, who was the resident of Qom, I have checked more than 100 facts and also decided to contribute in pictorial form. That was the most interesting thing for me as I helped the community. That activity assisted me in learning some common Persian words as well.
