Hi to everyone! I just wanted to share with you why I try my best to contribute to Google Maps and Local Guides.
First off, I am a HUGE user of Maps, I’ve loved it since day one; as someone who’s passionate about geography (even though I’m no expert…), Google Maps is just the perfect tool/app to help me discover places I could (probably) never travel to and simply enrichen myself as a citizen of the world, get to know new cultures and admire the beauty of our planet.
Then, Local Guides came as a natural “followup” of Maps, and I benefit greatly from it when looking for different shops and places to visit: having people give their opinion on these locations and things to look out for, be aware of, etc, is a wonderful modern way of kwowing beforehand what places/shops/offices I should visit and are recommended, and which ones to avoid.
Every time I can, I do my best to provide a detailed account of experiences I found relevant about a particular place and I’m more than happy to share them with everyone, thus helping them know something else about it.
