It is very good question!
Everything we do in our lives should have a purpose. Because when we do something for a certain purpose - we have an incentive to do this. We strive to achieve this goal …
To achieve the goal, ways could be different … a person can achieve the goal, because somebody set this goal and this is external stimulus… but may achieve the goal, because wants it itself. And in this there is a big difference. If you are doing something just because somebody said this to do, then it will be just work and you will just do it. But if you wants something by yourself, then you will do it with passion, with internal feeling that you need this!
I started my way as Local Guide just as the result of luck.
I wanted to send a photo to a friend, but clicked on wrong icon. So my first photo appeared on the maps)
My contributions to the Google Maps are part of my life, because for me this is what make me happy. It makes me happy to see that my photos and videos are browsing thousands of people.
I have uploaded more than two thousand photos that help people better see the places that are interesting to them
I started uploaded a video from this year, . My goal is to upload 2000 videos this year. I started doing it, because for me it is much more useful to see a place on the video than on a photo. And I understand that it helps people more
Additionally, I began to put a signature “#YuriiPo in Instagram” on a photo and video.
In my Instagram I started posted topics related to Environment - seedlings of trees, problems related to Environment and I hope that people who will follow the # will also contribute more to the Environment
And of course I am dreaming to take part in Connect Live event!
Few reason for that:
- I am dreaming to visit USA almost all my life! Probably I will be happy as a baby if I will join…
- I will be able to share my experience as Local Guide…
- And I will have possibility to learn more from colleagues!
