I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS ADDING PLACES ON MAPS BUT THEY ARE NOT APPEARING, ONLY GIVING ME POINTS BUT NOT APPEARING ON MY EDITS AT ALL, THIS HAS BEEN FRUSTRATING ME, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM. I HAVE EVERYTHING LIKE PHOTOS,WEBSITE OF THE PLACE.
Yes, man. I also gave new places, but they were rejected on the same day.
Perhaps this is due to a complex algorithm. Some of the places that I mentioned in the “title” item were answered to me that such a place already exists.
Perhaps what you added is saved to some archive. And it will be added in the future.
@smyx1212 I know when the place exist, but this place i wanted to add does not exist in the map.
You are not alone! I have the same problem! I hope they can solve this problem soon.
@Zakk and @CaroGuiniazu To add places on the google map first you have to search the name or address of the place you are trying to add, if such place doesnt exist just below the search area you will see a “add missing place” option, then you type in the name and pin point the new place on the map, wait till it gets approved then start adding pictures and reviews

You are not alone dear … I believe this is a worldwide issue now. I have reported this few weeks ago in this post.
I know this is frustrating and all, but Maps has been struggling lately with such issues. I don’t know what wrong code was committed to the production, which created this series of chaos. 
I have reported it already on every possible forum related to Google Maps but no fate. This is still a problem.
And no, you do not get the points instantly for the places you add. You only get the notification that these many points will credit once the edit is approved.
I hope this gets resolved soon.

I face a problem when i add a missing place. Everything goes right but the Google Map shows Invalid address entered even if the address is correct and valid. Can anyone suggest me what to do?
Hi Friend! There are many bugs. The location address is related with the quality of retaliation or necessary to locate it with particular address. That’s why it can be complicated to add a new location. I found another problem. There is no possibility to add photos when there is a pedestrian zone/like Kryshchatyk in Kyiv, İstiklal in Istanbul or Arbat in Moscow. Google asks the exact address 
Yeah there are many bugs but Google is giving attention to resolve them.
