Google is my best friend. Whatever doubt I have, I always turn to Google for answer or a hint, and it has been so consistently answering my question, solving my daily problems and enriching my life. When I started to establish an independent life, I am able to start exploring community around and places further away. I particularly interested in food, they are my “Juice of Happiness”. I felt extra calm and satisfied to fill my free time out of work and daily routine with food.
Whenever I saw something nice or worth a try, I always tried to get people close to me to go try it out together. My confidence grew when people around me agreed with my opinion, and started to ask me for recommendation of food. From here, I think that this information should be spread out wider, not only to people around me, but to the community, or even the world. To achieve this, internet is the best choice.
Being a foodie myself, I easily got excited when I have a nice food plan ahead. Nice food can be a beautiful presentation, a meal packed with good nutrient, a plate smells so tempting, or a serving that tasted so right on the point. It all brings joy to me. It clears my worries and stress. I saw smiles in places that served great food. As food is a need of every human, choosing quality for our needs made us feels contented, I believe it is. Thus, I chose to share my experience of food on Google to give a sneak peak on what to expect from a place and helping people to make less disappointing choices.
Some of the time during my food exploration journey, there are surprises. Not only did I get good food; I felt the undeniable passion from the person who run the business or prepare the food. I was unable to get pass this feeling easily without telling others how satisfied I was with what I just had, the overloaded sincerity that I just received. These are the businesses that deserve relentless support from the public; these are the businesses that I hope it last forever and grew to become better. Bringing them to the knowledge of wider public crowd is a good way to help them earn enough to stay in the business.
Often, these businesses started as a small venture in relatively quiet neighbourhood. They served quality to their customer wholeheartedly, but struggle to grow their business, or even to sustain their business in the market. I hope by sharing my experience with them to Google Map, it helps them to grow their business. I hope to always being able to see them at their place, selling the food item they did best to the public. I hope to preserve the unique and diversified food culture that I am in love with on this land that I live in.
As I started to share opinion to Google Map, and as time goes by, my will has becomes my habit. By now, I have accumulated a number of reviews on Google Map. The force and triggering factor that brought me to this foodie experience-sharing journey has not dim even a little. It just gets going and continues, it won’t stop. It is an enjoyable journey to do what you love. So fellow friends, do expect an unstoppable Local Guide of the name underwritten to wander around Malaysia, posting food photos and words of my opinion.
