Be it solo or with a group, everyone likes to travel. The same goes for me!
I love sharing my experiences from anywhere I come to. From sunrise to sunset views, amenities of a place to stay, food served and customer service provided, giving honest feedback and tips are a must.
As picturesque scenery and instagramable sites have taken the world captive of the travel & photography niche, I learned to stay to my heart’s tune. That is to take all in (during trips and travels), learn what I can and be a better version of myself from then on. This for me, meant I had to live within moments.
You can’t really live within moments when you’re always thinking “I’ve got to have this captured in the sharpest and highest resolution possible”.
I personally tend to get busy finding the right angles, the best lighting, the quietest surrounding, my most like-worthy shot, and in the end get tangled in that system of “showing the best” but not actually experiencing it.
So, I decided to leave the best shots to the professionals… and bring life not to the pictures I take, but to fully experience the moments I’m in. <3
Here are some pictures I got to at least commemorate my birthday trip last year.
P.S. Google Maps had been my best bud since then.
The windmills of Bangui, Ilocos Norte This horse was on a break when I saw it. I had to take his picture because he looked so majestic. Who knew I’d get to ride that same horse I took a picture of that afternoon?! How cool is that?Apparently, this horse was the biggest one among all tour guiding horses in Vigan, Ilocos Sur.
On the wait for the lights and water show at the Vigan City Plaza. The show is scheduled on weekends, 8pm.
Yup, I got drenched in pond water. lol Image captured from the top of a concrete pole of the now unused old Quirino Bridge that connects Vigan and Santa. Dawn was breaking in this image I took at Saint Augustine Church (commonly known as Paoay Church) in Ilocos Norte I also got to sand surf the dunes of Paoay. Very proud to say that I was the only female who didn’t fall off the sand board going downhill. hihi! We rode this 4x4 in a thrill ride over the sand dunes in Paoay. The adventure concluded at the stop of this beautiful beach within the same area of the dunes.
