My name is Antonio, I am currently a Google Local Guide Level 6 from Puebla, Puebla in México.
I love photography and sharing photographs on Google Maps it’s one the things I like doing the most. I started taking photos when I was 13 years old with a very simple camera, on the other side I got my first computer around that age and started surfing the web. Now almost 20 years later I combine my passions computers/technology and photography to help the people that live in Puebla or are visiting Puebla, find and preview places worth visiting and discovering. So the photographs of the most important and Iconic places should be inviting people to visit in person or to know more about it, and as local guide I do my part in saving Puebla on photograph at a time. I nearly updated 400 pictures of the most iconic places in Puebla. One of my favorite photographs stories is a express photo rally I made with some friends. I started when we went to downtown and walked nearly non stop for 2 hours, but the results were worth the time and effort. I got to take photographs of the places in Downtown Puebla that are in the main bucket list for everyone not just tourist but the people that live here to know, visit and share. It all started with the Catedral and Main Square Plaza (Zócalo de Puebla), then we went to Main Government Building and the most important crafmanship market called “El Parian”, the antiques market “Los Sapos” and the artist neiborhood .“El Barrio del Artista”, other iconic places we visited was the “Librería Palafoxiana”, which is amazing place hidden within Puebla’s downtown. At the end we finished in a beautiful park located behind the Convention Center, the name of the park is Paseo de san Francisco.
I love to share photographs of how beautiful and interesting is Puebla, so it’s saved to be perceived as a boring place!
