It is an amazing privilege to be able to contribute to the worldwide community that is Google Maps. I became a Local Guide to help people by sharing my experiences in travel and photography. I love capturing moments and places and I find that some of the most beautiful spots in Australia have little exposure. For example, travelling to Australia’s South West last week reminded me of how many beaches and coves were practically undiscovered with only a handful of reviews and photos. It gave me great pleasure to capture these paradises and upload them to Maps so others may be influenced to explore more of their backyard! The photo I have attached is of Castle Rock - a beach just south of Dunsborough in Western Australia. It’s a truly natural and peaceful area that has the most crystal clear water I have ever seen
