Why I am here...

Hi, welcome to my page!

I am Hendy, 29 y.o single male living most of my days in Bandung, a quite small town but in fact is the capital city of West Java, the biggest province (in terms of the number of the citizens) in Indonesia. I have so many passion such as culinary (both cooking and eating), traveling, fashion, arts (singing, drawing, etc), and, of course, photography. I am now an enterpreneur, I work with some of my family members on a very small culinary business.

The main reason why I started being a Google Local Guide last year is because I want to share my daily life experiences (of course mostly in a city named Bandung that must of you have never heard about before) as sharing is caring, sharing is loving, and sharing is the best way to let anyone else learn from you. As what I’ve stated above, by being a Local Guides I can make anybody, no matter where they are, know about Bandung, about my life, and about my interest. I do learn more from all of you guys. Even I have traveled to Japan without any tour and travel agent by myself using guidance from Google Maps and Google Local Guides only. I hope that I can be that kind of guide that you need whenever you want to know more about Bandung or somewhere else that I’ve been visited before (might be Bali, Singapore, Thailand, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and many more).

I am very happy to have the best way to share my life within this community. I shared a lot of photos of foods, drinks, must-visit spots, landmarks, natures, and many more; I corrected every single mistakes/errors that I found in maps; and yeah I added more new places to make you easier to find that place. I am enjoying doing this job. Every single day I try to do my best to give more and more information.

So, please, make me one of those lucky guides that could have chance to attend the upcoming Connect Live 2019 at Google! I’d be very glad and thankful. Let me be Indonesian representative there and I’ll tell you more about my country (especially my province and my city), my culture, and my life.

Thank you Google, thank you Local Guide Community!
