Why I am a Local Guide?

I started a few years ago thanks to my friend and when I was posting my first review I couldn`t even imagine that I woud become so involved into this! So, why? Lets try to figure it out!

  1. I like sharing :woman_teacher: . Of cource I can tell my opinion about best coffee in town to my friends and family but isn`t it better to let everyone know and maybe safe somebody life craving for “goodmorning” Americano!

  2. I like being usefull :innocent: . Being local guide let me understand how I can impact places all around the word, it shows that our big big World is so different but has so much in common. It feels so good: Ukrainian girl writes tips about visiting Cambodian town, posts photos seen by thousands of people from Asia, Europe, Americas, Africa, Australia and may be has impact on decision visit or not this place and when is it better to do.

  3. I like exploring and traveling :small_airplane: - I love our World and I do enjoy making my own discoveries and review, photos, tips from other people really help me - so i do the same in return. And yeah I love to eat great tasty food and want other to have the same great experience, specially when they come to my home country

  4. Achievements letters :sunglasses: - yes, Its super cool for selfmotivation and feeeling proud of myself to be in top of local guides in my area or to get 100000 photo views or to get “thank you” from stranger!

It heps me to feel home even when I am so many miles away from home: read review and go to cafe ordering like you`ve already been there before, try local drinks, pick the table with best view and know exactly where is the most amazing sunset point nearby.

Now I stuck in amazing country - Vietnam. missing my home country - Ukraine but cannt go there cause all fights are canceled due to Covid, thank you to all guides for writing your reviews and for Google for creating such space: it lets me feel LOCAL at any part of the World!
