Why I am a local guide

Being from a high technology society to a very rural part of Colombia has made me realise how much I miss aspects of the internet and how they benefitted me in my life while I was living in London. What I am saying is that there is a huge need for businesses and organisations especially in developed countries to have what they do represent online. I wanted to be able to take advantage of google maps being able to give me directions to all the main places I wanted to visit in town. See the directions, the distance and walking time to each from my location. It is something I took advantage of back in the UK. So instead of abanding my mobile phone to mundane apps such as twitter and facebook like many of the locals are resigned to, I went about time listing the places that I frequented and businesses that I told about this service. There is now a great buzz in my town to be listed on Google Maps. I have just recently bought a 360 camera to help in the listing of places too and its a new tool that I am excited to put into action.
